Invented early in the 18th century by Bartolomeo Christofori, the piano eventually worked its way to almost every family from the late nineteenth to the early twentieth century. Before the coming of the radio, the piano has become the fundamental entertainment piece of any home in the developed world. Sound

The sound produced on the piano is unlike everything else on earth. One moment it sounds trashy and effervescent, the next gritty and loud. Few other instruments have anything like the piano’s selection, both tonally and dynamically. Besides, piano is very versatile and you can play different genres like Ragtime, Jazz, Boogie-Woogie, Honkey-Tonk, and Bebop, to the Rock and Roll of today. Of all the instruments, the piano could be considered the one that most closely resembles the voice. Try to listen to a Chopin Nocturne (in B flat) and tell me the sound doesn’t inspire you.
